So, despite a tiny amount of effort, I couldn't come up with a theme for this round. Instead, I'm going to steal someone else's theme, sort of. Someone around here (who shall remain nameless for their own sanity's sake) said something about existing 'verses and I've considered that before, so this time I'm going with it for sure.
Drabbles this time around - MISSING SCENES! That is, missing scenes from my previously written fics. Such as "Tangible," "Perceptible," etc. - the longer ones that have time gaps may be easiest. The list can be found here:
Master List
We'll see how well this works out. It could be a complete disaster.

part 2
He found Ambrose upstairs, sitting on the edge of their bed with his legs crossed under him, shoes tossed across the room haphazardly. Ambrose's eyes were on him as he sat down on the bed, his leg touching Ambrose's bent knee. "I'm sorry," Wyatt said softly.
"For what?" Ambrose asked, his tone lacking emotion.
"I'm not ashamed of you," Wyatt felt the need to say. "I just thought you wanted people to leave you alone, that you would tell me if someone needed to know you were alive."
"He's your son, Wyatt," Ambrose hissed angrily. "I never thought I would have to tell you to include him on such a significant portion of your life. Assuming I am that."
Wyatt's hand moved without thought, cupping and massaging the back of Ambrose's neck with comfortable familiarity. "You're the most important thing in my life, you and Jeb both. I wanted to tell him but I wasn't sure..."
"You weren't sure if it would change how he looked at you," Ambrose finished for him.
"Yeah," Wyatt shrugged.
"Did it?" Ambrose turned and looked at him, suddenly uncertain.
"I don't know yet," Wyatt answered truthfully. "I told him to come back tomorrow, the three of us can talk. But you have to know, I'm not giving you up."
Ambrose snorted. "You seriously think he'd ask you to? Cripes, Wyatt, he's just glad you're alive. He might even be happy to know I'm alive, who knows? We really need to work on your communications skills, you know that?"
Wyatt laughed weakly, leaning against his partner and letting his forehead drop to rest on Ambrose's shoulder. He felt a kiss against the top of his head and he smiled. "But you still love me."
"You know I do," Ambrose's arm came around him and they both tumbled over together.

Thanks for reading!! A. Rob Ems is kind of a dark, emotionally draining 'verse so it's always nice to know how it's being seen by others. :D
