There was a big kerfluffle last weekend (Memorial Day) wherein LJ suspended a bunch of journals because of certain interests for fear of pedophiles or people encouraging indecent behavior. This idea *points above* was about fans donating money to various child protection and prevention type groups instead of to LJ for their paid accounts.
