*hugs* No problem - someone's usually around the room most nights, I just don't post on LJ every time I hop over and check. But let me know (on here, this thread is fine) when you want to try it and I'll do the best I can to help out! The technical side kind of elludes me, but pennies posted some useful instructions here:

It's like, using different browsers to get to the same internet. :) I'm on Mac laptop, so I use one called "Snak," there's a common one for PC called "mIRC" that I think is a free trial. I've heard that some found other programs that are free, too. I can't remember if you've already found a program or not!
