Hooo…boy… you massively improved a day spent on spreadsheets, thank you ever so much! ^^ I loved the easy familiarity and trust between them, and the details like Cain having to hold onto his desk, and phrases like “wanton grace” and “reckless agility”.
Cain realizing what Glitch had in mind and accepting it “with an embarrassing amount of enthusiasm” was hilarious, as was the fact Glitch was there because he was waiting for the smoke to air out of his lab!
Oh, and I have to mention this because it was so vivid: Panting harshly into the damp fabric of Cain's jacket
And Cain pulling him up onto his lap for a little reciprocation- *adores Cain’s sense of fairness*

I’ve enjoyed the ones previous to this, too, particularly Cain saying to Ambrose:
