The joys of trying to find a real job....

Seems having two B.S. degrees (ha!) and an M.A. (plus a certificate to teach at comm/junior college level), along with three years experience so far in elementary education...qualify me for exactly squat. Let's not go into the vast expanse of my *other* job experience beyond that...it's a lot for a meager ten or so years since high school.

Needless to say, working 2 part-time jobs isn't doing anything for my long-term mental health (or physical, as I've never had health insurance), nor financial security. I need a real job, and I need one now. I should be teaching community college or junior college right now. What am I doing? Teaching after school science and working as an instructional aide for elementary music. *sigh*

But, I refuse to settle. I've applied for two children's science museum jobs today, hopefully something in my children's science education experience will hit someone upside the head and inspire them to offer me an interview.
