And of course, the horses. *purrs* That little bit came out so nicely. It first came to me when I remembered in the series when Cain saw the horse on the mantle at Ralph and Lorraine's house and I imagined all these little wood horses scattered around the countryside, wherever Cain or Jeb went. And the whole concept of the silver scar just seemed so obvious, one of those "duh!" moments that I had to take advantage of!
