Yaaaaay!
So, the two of us are going with some friends to kayak in the ocean off La Jolla beach (near San Diego).
Assuming we don't get eaten by sharks (yeah, not kidding, apparently) or by the aggressive, carnivorous jumbo squid that have come into the area...be back this evening! :D
ETA: Back. Didn't die. Surr capsized her kayak and went for an unplanned swim with the bat rays waaaaaaay out in the ocean. Also saw some pelicans (they're HUGE!). Discovered that next time some motion sickness drugs might be a good idea (those waaaaaaves...*uuuuuugh*).
But didn't die. \o/
